Touchpoint Media is seeking a high performing, experienced Director of Finance to lead the company’s financial operations and provide strategic guidance focused on growth and profitability. As a key member of the leadership team you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our company.

Touchpoint Media is a leading Marketing & Communications Company based in Minneapolis, MN. The company specializes in content creation across platforms from print magazines to digital communications including B2B corporate communications, B2C publishing, video creation, web development and social media.

Job Responsibilities

The position will work closely with the CEO and leadership teams and be responsible for the financial oversight of the organization including: strategic planning, budget development and monitoring; accounting and payroll functions; investment and cash management; coordination and completion of monthly and annual financial packages and policies of Touchpoint Media Inc.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Financial Leadership

• Oversee all aspects of the finance/accounting department

• Develop and implement a comprehensive financial management strategy aligned with the organization’s strategic plan

• Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of all financial reporting

• Guide implementation of new billing process

• Strong knowledge of accounting software and finding efficiencies in the workflow.

Strategic Planning & Analysis

• Partner with the CEO and senior leadership team to develop the annual budget

• Participate in the strategic planning process; short and long term

• Provide financial insights and forecasts to inform strategic decision-making

• Partner with management and leadership to identify new business opportunities and build financial models and business plans

Team Leadership & Development

Communication & Collaboration

• Clearly communicate complex financial information

Secondary Responsibilities

• Human Resources and Technology responsibilities are part of the role

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior finance role

• Proven track record of financial leadership and strategic planning

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a senior finance role

• Experience with accounting software and related platforms

• Experience with time management and sales software integrations

• Minimum 2+ years of experience working in an agency and/or media & related businesses (including print, digital media and related Video, Web, Social)
